Nice place to relax
Visited the town on a Devon break away and so glad I chose this pub! It overlooks the pirate ship in the harbour and really good outdoor seating areas. Also great for just having a relaxing pint and watching the world go by! (People watching!!) friendly staff. Lovely place and worth visiting

Great service and value at the Old Market House
Whilst enjoying a weeks holiday in Brixham we had two meals at the Old Market House. On both occasions the service, food and value for money were excellent. On both occasions we had the same meals as the experience the first time was so good. We both had three small plates for £20 that we found to be plentiful, very tasty and excellent value.

There are plenty of places in Brixham with a nice view, but very few combine atmosphere, food, and genuinely exceptional service the way The Old Market House does. Sitting right on the harbour, it manages to feel both lively and relaxed — the kind of place where you intend to stop for one drink and somehow end up staying all evening. The setting is beautiful, the food is consistently excellent, and the whole place has a warmth that many restaurants try to create but rarely achieve.

Great Sunday Roast.
Visited many times but this was the first time for Sunday lunch. Excellent roast, I had beef, my brother had the chicken. Beautifully cooked, my beef was so tender! Catered for my change of vegetables as well. The staff are always polite and friendly. Highly recommend the Sunday roast.
